Welcome to the Sonic Revolution

A new category in nervous system regulation

Sonocea is a neuroscience technology company that uses precisely structured sound to help regulate the nervous system.

Based on 50 years of neuroscience research, our proprietary acoustic signal architecture is designed to influence autonomic state, supporting regulation, recovery and performance.

The Problem

Nervous system dysregulation affects how we feel, recover and perform

How well we regulate our state underpins how we recover, perform and respond to our environment.

When the autonomic nervous system struggles to adapt efficiently to changing demands, the effects can be seen across sleep, recovery, attention, resilience and readiness.

In performance, healthcare, and high-pressure environments, supporting nervous system regulation has become increasingly important.

Yet most available approaches are invasive, effort-dependent, compliance-heavy, pharmacological, or difficult to deliver at scale.

Introducing Sonocea

A new approach to nervous system regulation

One platform
Multiple applications
Measurable outcomes

Sonocea combines proprietary acoustic signal architecture and neuroscience into a scalable platform for nervous system regulation.

Powered by Sonic Augmentation Technology™ (SAT™), the platform delivers precision-engineered acoustic protocols designed to influence autonomic state, supporting regulation, recovery and performance.

Mechanism

Evidence-based acoustic regulation for the autonomic nervous system

The auditory pathway provides a direct route into neural systems involved in arousal, attention and state regulation.

Built on more than five decades of autonomic research and a deep understanding of endogenous biological rhythms, Sonocea applies proprietary acoustic protocols designed to support more balanced states and nervous system regulation.

Delivered through an app, partner platform, headphones or speakers, the same technology is simple to deploy and designed to scale.

One platform.
Tailored to people, purpose and place

Simple, Accessible Delivery

Sonocea is simple to access – just press play and listen.

Acoustic protocols can be configured for different users, objectives and contexts - from regulation and recovery to readiness and performance.

Sonocea can be delivered wherever it’s needed: the same platform works across performance, healthcare, high-pressure workplaces and the built environment.

Clinically studied. Biologically measured.
Independently validated

Sonocea has been validated through independent clinical studies conducted by leading academic, medical and defense research organizations.

Across these studies, measurable physiological and behavioral changes have been observed following both single-session and repeated use.

In 90% of participants

Improved biobehavioral state in 15 minutes

University of Florida College of Medicine n=113

In 73% of participants

Increased oxytocin in 15 minutes

University of Florida College of Medicine n=33

Maintained over four weeks

Symptoms improve with daily use

US Federal Research Long COVID Program n=250

Outcomes were evaluated using objective physiological biomarkers alongside validated clinical and behavioral measures.

About

Us

Born from Five Decades of Neuroscientific Research

Sonocea was founded at the intersection of behavioral neuroscience and acoustic innovation to explore a simple but powerful question:

What if sound could be engineered to systematically support nervous system regulation at scale?

That question brought together neuroscientist Professor Stephen W. Porges, whose pioneering work transformed scientific understanding of the autonomic nervous system, and Anthony Gorry, whose expertise in sound and technology enabled that science to become a scalable platform.

Today, that collaboration continues to shape every aspect of the science, technology and commercial development at Sonocea.

Scientific Leadership. Global Organization

Sonocea exists to unlock the scientific potential of sound to improve health, recovery and human performance at scale.

It combines world-leading neuroscience with expertise in technology, healthcare and commercial innovation.

Incorporated in Delaware as Sonocea Inc, Sonocea operates with offices in Florida and London, and a multidisciplinary team across the US and Europe.

The company is supported by an internationally recognized scientific advisory board and operates within established research, ethical and institutional governance frameworks.

Leadership

Combining world-leading neuroscience with commercial execution
